Excellent episode. From an age when TV was so much better. Series such as this and the many plays which were broadcast at that time. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for showing.

Marvellous and not so far off our contemporary modern world still made up of bedsits with lonely hearts scared stiff of involvement. You see it’s this double current that governs a lot of lonely hearts, the wish to fall in love and the fear of being together. Shall I dare? To quote a famous poet

I'm really enjoying this series, I'd have been eight when this was on originally so wouldn't have been allowed to watch! Maureen Lipman and Susie Blake... what a cast! Fab!
