Great match between two very skilled players with excellent sportsmanship. It’s so nice to see free flowing squash, patient and tactical play, with some real tension from the 3 game match which greatly increases the chances of an upset.

can someone explain the ball called out at 21:44? looked in by a mile to me. did they mean to say not up or something? (coll seemed to definitely gesture out though and that's what the ref called)

Yeah - it didn't look out but the ball didn't hit the front wall so I guess it really should be called "down".

@@drsnz no watch it in 0.25 speed or step frame by frame (with the "." key), the ball definitely hits the front wall shortly after the side wall

Colls racquet hit Rooney in the shot which lead to it being loose hence he raised his hand for the ref to call a let.

@@peterhammer4644 For sure Peter, and my comment wasn't in any way a criticism of Paul and Patrick, they just played a very clinical sterile match is all. Yes, some can handle the pressure of 'a big match' and some can't. These two boys are class acts!!
