I did see one flaw, they were not combat ready, Doom Guy always has one weapon up and ready to blast demons. Also the books explain that the rocket launcher was a downsized design made by UAC that used battery sized rockets and the BFG was actually fairly light weight for it's size, that and the characters in the books would dump some weapons to make room for others. As for the rest it was accurate.

Real soldiers can wear up to 100 kg of gear (kit bag + weapons + ammunition). They're extremely fit and can probably lift most of the arsenal the Doom Guy has. However it is highly unlikely that you can just switch between said weapons on the fly while also running as fast as he did. It is a video game after all... where you kill demons. If we wanted authentic experience (to the letter) we would've joined the freaking army.

Now, this isn't strictly fair; Doom was set on Phobos and Deimos, which have so little gravity you could reach escape velocity by pedaling a bicycle off a ramp. You could lift all that stuff one-handed - all 184 pounds of it would weigh just 0.11 pounds on Phobos, and on Deimos they'd be just half of that.

Well, its possible that all the gear weighed him down enough to have a semblance of moon gravity, but the main kicker is that the UAC found out that while you are in hell, a "Hercules effect" permeats to any living thing there, causing all sorts of organisms to have boundless energy and never get tired (theres still the limit of how much you can actually carry, of course. Muscles, even with limitless energy, are still limited in strength).
