Marquise was the best player. Keepers are so overpowered. Online root always hinder cats in some way.

Phanny is great and played extremely well! Only mistake was I think they over-policed. That made the wood pile build up. They should have forced other players to do that dirty work. They just don’t have the action eco. They need to allow cats to choose the wood they spend.

@@LordoftheBoard I'm currently on the turn where cats battled moles 3-3, moved, recruited. I think instead they should've moved up into the triple slot clearing and built twice - workshop, sawmill, for 5 points. Yes those buildings would be razed by the mob but that's just another free 5 points the following turn. And feeding the warlord points when they are behind is no big deal. You are also right that cats should've made moles your problem. Keepers have to migrate over to the moles at some point at which there is a high probability they will start punching them. Just build more starbucks, cats! Profits over violence!

Im looking at this game back and. Wow i fed cardboard a lot more than i should have. That and not placing buildings early. I was to new seeing my warlord alone. Not thinking, but that also was my 2nd ever game as rats

Getting your warlord wiped was pain! I was prioritizing Jubilant turn one too in order to generate items from ruins. But that seems to just give a lot of free VP for others. Starting the mood to switch Prowess and Command for the turn has been really consistent. Start with a building in 2 clearings.

I thought you'd be hurting with only having one card in the last move/ recover for most of the game, but nah, Badgers are like a bazooka. Killer if you know how to operate, but if you don't you're liable to blow yourself up. I've won a game as badgers before, but that was only because of some really smooth table talk, lol. Waiting anxiously for Marauders to come to Switch!!

Mixture of both! They are extremely powerful but can be policed. Both are quite complex so I think itll take time for digital to find its balance.

Keepers are strong but normally you don’t get both coins and a massive pile of cardboard. This is a tough matchup for them since it’s so crowded.

@LordoftheBoard any chance you can get to score double coins and hammer is a great time! Being left some cardboard gifts was extra icing on the cake. Hopefully you will have another match in the future with Badgers that is more relic focused! Side note: your trek to destroy the market confused me. I thought you'd use that army to get rule for your relic turn in. Then double decamp and move everyone through the winter tunnel to the left side. But you ran to bottom left and got ambushed. I was surprised you prioritized the market over the Badger triangle

You can choose the card if you tap the retinue and hold your cursor on the suit

Crazy game. By the way, you can choose which cards you use for delve and recover. Click on the small circle before you take an action and it will be highlighted.

How do you know when the player has an ambush on hand or not? is it time of response?

If they don't have an ambush, the rolls are announced instantly. If they do, the app gives them a little bit of time to play an ambush if they choose to. It makes sense why it's a feature in the app, but it does give additional information that you wouldn't have in a real game, which is a bit unfortunate.

Yeah random turn order. You choose your faction but set up with advanced setup rules

i feel like if you want suited moves you throw them in the back part. idk how i feel about suited moves in front because they stay locked up. we’ll see tho. this game gives me anxiety at the start with the recruit with bird oh lord
