I am pregnant with baby #2 as well! My babies will be about 13 months a part but an interesting thing an ultrasound tech told me was that she noticed when families have babies this close together they usually are the same gender! I will have two boys in April!

My boys are exactly 23 months apart. After having my oldest, Gideon, I was hoping for a little girl. “We are breaking some generational…” you got me on this😂😂😂 so happy for you!!! I recently heard that to conceive a girl you need to do THE THING couple days before ovulating. And wait for results without repeating “the thing”. Sperm with girls lives longer and you have a better chance to get pregnant with a girl. But never tried it myself. So it is only a theory. 🤭 Maybe you can check it out, and let us know with announcement of baby #3 😘

Our dr told me that if the blood test says boy it could be wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️ also it’s all about the dad in the gender of the baby. It doesn’t have anything to do with family history. We have 4 girls and I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, my husband has 3 sisters and 1 brother.

of course no blood test is 100% accurate! :) but the test we took has a 99.9% accuracy rate and is the same one we took with roman and it was right for us last time! and yes we know it’s all about the dads genetics haha, we were just having fun talking about how we will be the first ones on both sides of the fam to have 2 boys in a row! 😊 saiki only has two sisters!

@@rootedhomemaking the one we took with our last one I think was the same you took and I was so nervous it was wrong and that’s when our dr told us that only if it said boy that it might be wrong (I don’t know lol). Im just so used to girls I was kinda nervous for the possibility of a boy 😬 our oldest still wants us try for a boy but I don’t think I can handle 5 possible girls haha she told me Jesus will give us another baby if he wants us to have one. @@rootedhomemaking - So both of my girl friends are due in July. Both said they were having a girl and are having boys. Also- I’ve read a bit about it and you have to be a bit further a long to get the most accurate results. Apparently they can be contaminated if you aren’t extremely careful.

I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews of the blood test!! We used the same one with roman and it was accurate, but i guess we will find out about baby #2!! 🥰 I think mistaking a boy for a girl is more likely because we already have the XX and the boy is XY, so sometimes it takes until you’re farther along until the test can recognize it!
