Hi, I have some problem when following your tutorial. I'd like to root xt1021. I've already unlocked a bootloader, I have all drivers installed, usb degubbing is permanently enabled, I am choosing first option, confirming it with enter and the phone hangs on motorola round logo, without booting into twrp recovery utility. My moto has been updated to 5.1 lolipop recently. Best Regards.

Hello bro, i have a moto e XT1021 with android 4.4.4, after succesfully unlock the bootloader i did every step in this video... but.. something was different in the middle . I download this file: Moto E Auto Root and Recovery V3.zip, (i already install the driver) But when execute 1 Moto-E-Root-Recovery.bat, and select option 1 (phone was detected) then motorola logo appears but get stuck here.. nothing happends (in 10 minutes of waiting).. then press power button and phone reboot normally... i do something wrong? my device does not enter into recovery menu, it has the official OTA for kitkat 4.4.4 already installed. It only stays in the blue motorola logo, what can I do.

Sorry I know this is an old vid but I just swiped my aunt's old moto e to use as a music player but want to root and install a debloated rom. I've followed the instructions, unlocked the bootloader, made sure USB debugging mode is enabled, booted into fastboot. Open Moto-E-Root-Recovery and whatever I select it just says waiting for device? I've made sure the drivers are installed etc. Not sure what else to do now?

there is no SU binary installed and supersu cannot install it. this is a problem if you just upgraded to Android 5.0 you need to manually re-root- consult the forums bla bla bla this appears when i oppen super su pls help me sir

en mi caso tenia el programa BlueStacks ( que emula android ) funcionando en segundo plano y me reconocia dos dispositivos cuando finalize ese proceso ya me funciono

i have a question about official OTA. Suppose i have rooted my device. I have stock recovery..stock kernel..stock rom. Everything stock but only root access. Now can i download and update with OTA? any harm if i have root access and i update with the official OTA?

i figured it out eventually ... i was putting a additional .img in front of recovery file name ..but in fact it is already there its just not visible bcoz of computer specific settings just keep the name to recovery and its done..hope this helps
