Its true thst cyanogenmod gives better benchamarks for some devices, but i dont like black stock theme :D i know you can install a theme pack i have on my phone CM11 sgs5 theme pack installed snd its awesome!

Hey RootJunky I have a tab pro 8.4 and it's rooted with TWRP and all that all I need to do is flash the roms. With that being said do you recommend me install cm11 or cm12? I'm like on the edge of both please reply as soon as possible. :)

Hi. Thank you for the video. I just have 1 question. Iv had my tab pro 8.4 for Afew months and I didn't want to wipe it if i had a choice. I followed your last 2 videos successfully and when following this video I did all steps except wipe the tab pro, I downloaded the 2 files as per your links. When I proceeded to install the custom rom. It failed. Is their a way to restore all my settings after the custom rom is installed? Is it absolutely necessary to wipe the tab. (if I have to. I will)

Hey man! I followed your video and it worked perfectly... since i recently found out that there was a cm12 i wanted to update the ROM... Upon wiping data, i accidentally wipe the whole pre-existing OS (back up) and ROM... so now I'm left with a tablet (same as yours) with no NO OS whatsoever... but i still have access to TRWP interface, but dont know how to instal a custom ROM from computer to tablet... do you have to do factory reset and wipe before installing CM11? i didnt do it 3 times with 3 different CM version and it kept aborting. i did both wipe caches

When I get the tab pro, I will probably end up installing cm11. I also like touchwiz. When I get sick of cm11 or don't like it I will have to get back to touchwiz. I don't like to make a backup because it takes up a lot of memory and sometimes the backup disappears. Is there a firmware that has stock touchwiz that I can flash through odin?

So, I have a rooted device running Cyanogenmod 11 via TWRP. I have only had the device for about 2 weeks, but have noticed the speaker makes a weird noise with the volume all the way down. I am trying to return it to the store, as I have about a day left before I will not be able to return it. My issue is I CANNOT get the device back on the stock recovery. I have tried to download many files, but none of them have worked for me. Is there any other way I can reset the device back to a stock recovery so that the store will take the tablet back??

SebifastMr wipe data factory reset in custom recovery will not wipe internal or external SD card on the other hand a wipe data factory reset in stock recovery or with a firmware flash many times does wipe out the internal sd card
