Thanks really, good vids, but , does not work for me..... mine says "complete setup to continue" when I try to hold the Home Button..... still stuck locked out of my new G5...DOH! I don't understand what are you SUPPOSED to do if it's YOUR phone not stolen, matches the serial / IMEI on your CONTRACT, but you don't know the email you logged in with? as if this is in anyway going to stop people from stealing phones, such a stupid concept by google, should be able to unlock at the CARRIER with ID in 2 seconds... WTF?

k so if you have the problem where it factory data resets again after, take battery outt when reset at 17% when u start the thing and go to the google u should see a new option at the top, press it and sign into email

Also if you are rooted just install xposed....there is a module for this...but use this method if you are a noobie or dont have a custom recovery because xposed can really bring your device to its knees with its workaround.

The verizon V10 is locked down as well. Lollipop has root and you can install xposed but there is no recoveries and no kernels or roms. And marshmallow has nothing at all...it's completely locked down. First phone I ever had that has literally zero development going on. It's really sad that these companies are locking the phones this way. I might have to start buying nexus in the future.
