The perfect RP system is a mixture of RP and immersive sim that comes as close to being skill & stratefy based rather than imagination based but that also maintains tons of free room for imagination. like deus ex but with players instead of other NPCs

ive got a new computer now, i dont know if you remember my name, i played once before. i may play again now that i can run it better, but even back then, your server was very optimized, running well in an integrated graphics intel i5 3330. that was my old pc, now i have an rtx 3060

i am also making a level for gmod my self, it will be called gm_normal_mall, if i had more will power id make more maps, but im waiting for souce 2 and valve's new possibility of there being a game as big as half life 2 once more

I'd enjoy seeing a full mechanic showcase video, with our without commentary at some point, and where exactly said city scape map was found, as it seems it's from one of the many leaks that have happened over the years. I'm personally already not too much of a fan of how small objects are hard to manipulate and hope there is more control in that in the future. Detailing areas like a bar for example seem difficult at the moment, but roughness comes with early days.

Current version of the grab system is extremely early and unfinished, which is why I didnt show it in great depth. Fairly soon small objects will even use a different kind of grabbing than larger objects.

As someone who knows nothing about this project, what is the core gameplay loop?

The core gameplay loop goes like this: Join server Try to have fun Break rule 3.7 - Jaywalking Get teleported to admin sit Get banned

it's built primarily around the daily life of being a citizen. Working, collecting things you find decorative or useful, avoid / comply with Civil Protection, interact with others. It doesnt have as narrow of a gameplay loop as most things since it's roleplay focused. The there definitely is a "loop", but it is over the course of your sequence of characters which could last several days, perhaps even a week or more depending on how you play the character. But, its too early to really go into detail since none of this had been added yet. It's just some concepts I will be working on.
