Remember at the beginning of the synod, as all the defenders of Francis howled with disdain and condemnation at those who dared to call the statue a pagan idol, in spin mode they claimed it to be the Blessed Virgin Mary, but we knew it was the pachamama. You are so right Father! I am practising Catholic and in my early forties and I have always maintained that Catholics have been asleep for quite some time. Hence, the reason why the Church is going through these terrible scandals. Unfortunately, the hierarchy has told us to pray, pray and obey. I believe they have used something good, against us. In the book of Ezekiel, about the 8th chapter, the Lord shows idols which have been brought into His house, women there weeping for the false god Tammuz, elders worshipping the sun.
