First time seeing that method. Interesting, but I think that other methods are more foolproof because they don't have such "critical " spacing requirements. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the comment. I would hesitate to call any rope access maneuver fool proof. Like I mentioned, this is one method of many. Everything has pros and cons. I would say it’s a solid with the given equipment and to keep things clear.

@@GuillePolanco1 Thanks for the comment. Following SPRAT and many other rope access standards. Aside from having a completely independent backup system with the ASAP on another rope, a single rope grab is absolutely acceptable for attachment to the main line, given that it is unmoving and there is no lateral tension in the rope underneath.
