First time I've brought my GoPro in a while. This building is in Red Deer in central Alberta. Extremely easy rigging and lots of swing for 3 windows. Was a nice day to just listen to music and clean windows :) I used to use a bluetooth speaker but now I just turn my phone on full volume and keep it in that case on the shoulder strap of my harness. I also really like using these dent pulling suction cups that you get get from amazon or an automotive shop for under $10. If you were wondering what kind of squeegee channel I'm using it's what happens when you put an Unger Ninja in a bucket of chemicals. Sorry that I don't know how to put more than one royalty free songs on here but I kept the original sound so the last 30 minutes are a good representation of what it sounds like up there.

Now that I think about it, there is no reason to wipe the edge of the glass on a window 100m off the ground 😅 even if the squeegee leaves a couple mm of water, it won't be seen by anyone anyway. But I have a question for the suction cup, do you even operate it, or just put it on the glass without opening/ closing the handle? Wondering how do you reposition it so quickly. ps. props for using tethers on the equipment, I haven't seen anyone do that myself, so didn't think of using them either 😅
@BrodyYYC
@BrodyYYC 2 жыл бұрын
I really like these dent puller suction cups because once you get used to them you can move them around really quickly. It sort of just becomes muscle memory. They're also really cheap to buy like $10.
@piciu256
@piciu256 2 жыл бұрын
@@BrodyYYC so it comes down to practice 😁 thanks for advice, will be sure to do, there were plenty of situations where a full blown suction cup wasn't necessary, but something that allows you to holt at the middle of the window would help a lot.

@DBCSwindow yeah at least with window cleaning you arent removing large pieces of the building you are attatched to. Plus, you gotta have some real trust in your ground crew. Ive seen some fucked up vids on youtube of the ground guys dropping limbs waaaay too fast past the climbers. Or not dropping them soon enough, sending them whipping around on the tree like a wrecking ball. If you can deal with that, you can squeegee windows hahaha

Momentum just carried me a bit further over than I wanted. It's a 3 window drop so the ropes are going to want to keep me in the middle. I just always try to work with the momentum so I'm not pulling against it. I basically needed to get the suction cup right on the other side of the frame and instead it was closer to the center of the window which positioned me farther than I wanted. Just OCD stuff basically lol.
