Pro parenting tip: when your kids have super loud toys, put a small piece of clear packaging tape over the speaker. They can still hear the toy perfectly, but you don’t have to hear it across the house…it has been a lifesaver for toys like that Buzz Lightyear 😂

Thanks for sharing your Disneyland experiences! I’m from California so Disneyland is my home park. Like you, I love that this was the original, “Walt’s park”, designed with his daughters in mind. There are so many more little things you’ll discover the next few times you are here! And the parks + Downtown Disney are expanding so there will be many more new adventures to be had! Disneys California Adventure has cheese on a stick at the Corn Dog Castle. For anyone that doesn’t know…It’s like a corn dog but with cheese instead of a hotdog. 😊 It’s delicious! I’m a Disney World girl at heart. I absolutely love Cinderella castle. 💜 But I really enjoy the convenience of Disneyland and how close the two parks are. It’s amazing.

Hyperspace Mountain is an overlay to the regular Space Mountain that happens during their Star Wars event every May. Add to your list the christmas overlay at Haunted Mansion when it reopens! It's the best - Nightmare Before Christmas themed.

When I lived in Arizona and would go to Disneyland often with friends who lived in Anaheim, we would ride Splash Mountain repeatedly late at night when there were no lines (as one does when one is 22 and full of energy) and then immediately go ride Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride to warm up in the “hell sequence” 🤣

My husband and I did the canoes when we visited Disney for our honeymoon, and I don’t know what possessed us to do it on the hottest day of our trip, but my husband still talks about it (7 years later) and is STILL stuck on the fact that the person behind him was rowing the wrong way. He was soaked when we got off and will never forget it 🤣

It looked like you were the only guests on the Submarine ride…. Or were you the last group on the ride? Not sure you knew but Hyper Space Mountain is an overlay during the Star Wars season and then it goes back to the regular Space Mountain where you only see stars/galaxies. During the Halloween season, Space Mountain becomes Ghost Galaxy where they have ghosts in space (not that great). Did you go on Pirates? I don’t remember if you did or not but Pirates at Disneyland is better than at Magic Kingdom. Also Thunder Mountain is also better - there’s a scene with dynamite when the roller coaster gets pulled up the hill. The clip with Nora cleaning the “horse” was so cute! Glad you had a great time at Disneyland Resort!!!!

Really? We had really great interactions with cast members all over both parks and at our hotel. Like, 5 star experiences with them! I would LOVE (LOVE LOVE LOVE) to visit Tokyo Disney. Did you love it?!

Blair! If you stay at Grand Californian next time, there’s a viewing platform terrace thing where you can watch world of color. We would bring our son back and give him a bath and head over in Jammie’s to watch!
