Ropetek Helmet Pairing Ritual

Here is a typical scene on our jobsites when getting started.
If the same crew everyday then routine is simplified but we vary a lot on manpower from job to job which makes for a lot of resetting and starting over. Before Adam came on board, It was just luck when we linked up by randomly stabbing away at button sequences like chimpanzees playing with a microwave.

Hahaha. Us guys have the same ritual. When all four are paired we have to make a small sacrifice to the helmet gods, and do a victory dance! They have changed the way we all work though. Not that the team got angry but it removes all the stress and shouting from the job, can't recommend them enough. Great video August

Great video August! Thanks for making it. If someone has a faster/easier method of pairing up tell Adam. I would bet we would see it on an AH video update before long. Incredible contribution to the arb community August.

You should have a chant that you do while pairing to make it seem more mystical. It's like going somewhere with the kids in the car, "Are we there yet ?" "Noooooo" :D

I suppose it’s like that, because on some worksites, the boss needs to talk with everyone, but individuals may only need to talk with given others within a small crew/group/team.

August, rainy day project. I wonder if you can rig continuous power to the helmet radios at night so you do not have to pair every morning?

That sounds really confusing! What are you listening for? That's not very user friendly having to setup like that. There's got to be an easier way. Thanks for the video. I suppose after a while it gets easier.

Dam thats a pain. Similar to my motorcycle bike to bike and rider to pillion + Bt but once It is pared with helmet 1 2 3 4 & 5 it keeps the settings and also has 1k range and bt phone tunes and calling ability. Bloody pricey though :-/

Seems like a long time but the 5 minutes that took would be totally worth it. Also, you may be off on your math just a little unless you are paying them each around $220 an hour.
