Put this on before the wine and popcorn movie night 🍿🍷,The views were simple stunning,and love the fact its like a ? ,hope shells toe gets better. Love so far 0 people,you do the hikes i so love doing,my only worry would be,is getting lost and i am queen at doing that,wonder if could take small tent for the night and then the taxi picks you up next day?. James cagney"top the world ma! " springs to mind with the views ⛰.As always the drone shots were on point,think what i love about this and i don't think said before,is this is TOTAL escapism from the rat race,no cars,roads like you just landed and first to explore this wonderful place.love petes knowledge as well, great for dory's like me.the drone shots phil was like WOW! he loves places like this as his like me not a people person and loves places were there is just us and nature.The rocks could be millions years ago the lava moved different rocks and soil till it cooled and settled where it is now.Loved this video as we always love all of yours,have a lovely weekend,big hug debs xx 🤗 💎 💎xx.🍷

Hey Debs, ooh popcorn, wine and movie night, sounds like the perfect Saturday evening! Hope you had fun 😊🍿🥂. I'm happy to say that my toe nail has grown back now, that will teach me to wear ill fitting walking boots on a steep descent in future! 🙈. You are spot on, it really did feel like we had landed on a different planet up there, wandering around amongst the rocks and old Lava flow, such an incredible place ❤. When there are no people it is much easier to have a deeper connection to nature and your surroundings, we love that 💖😊⛰️. This was just the first day of hiking on La palma, what a beautiful island 🏝. The drone practically flew itself, no wind that day either, perfect! Mind blowing indeed and what a great trail to follow too. The 360 views were amazing, especially from the air with the drone. Funny enough, after years of wanting a drone for my channel, I bought one in the Black Friday sale but sent it back unopened when it came, as I felt guilty spending all that money on just me - one day I will get one! Worth the steep pull up to the summit for those amazing views, which were stunning, not sure about the singing mind! Cheers Alan

Hi Alan, The drone certainly is a great way to capture such mind blowing scenery, we love ours, although we agree they aren't cheap, we had to save some pennies before getting ours, and it was a Christmas present for Pete too. We hope you do manage to get a drone one day, you would get some fantastic footage from your hikes up the Lakeland fells 👍 ⛰️. This really was a spectacular place to hike 😊🙌. Hi Dave, Certainly do! We think we could quite happily live there! Over 1000km of hiking trails to explore, on such a small island, and the climate is slightly better than the UK of course 😂 🌞. What an amazing place that is. We could see La Palma from Tenerife and you could see Tenerife - mind you, it looked like you could see the world from up there!!! Beautiful rock formations - I'm not up on geology, but looked like types of gabbro and old lava flow?? Whatever, it was amazing to see the layers so clearly. And that altitude would suck the air out of you for a longer walk like you did. Amazing that you can be dropped off up there. So tempting to try and persuade Sue to do this one!! Hey Dave and Sue, Think you are spot on on the old Lava flow, either way we will take your word for it, as you know more than us on geology 😂👍. The rock formations really were fascinating though. Later on during this trip we were taken to see the Lava flow from the new volcano that erupted in 2021, that was also an amazing thing to see! We certainly could see for miles up there, the scenery was unreal. We would definitely recommend a holiday to La Palma if you ever get the chance guys, it is a stunning island and the jaw dropping views are so accessible, you don't have to be a hiker to experience them, which we thought was brilliant, made them accessible for all 😊👍. Enjoying this very much. Indeed, mind blowing views! Not a massive one…four miles there, four miles back?? That’s the equivalent of a marathon to us 😂. To have that view to yourselves is pretty damn special. The memories we all make by creating these videos really are something incredible. Rach just said we would only ever do this sort of walk if we had you both guiding us, we’d totally get lost. Incredible drone footage there again Pete, very cool. Think we might have said this before but you could absolutely sell your drone footage online. I sell sound effects on various stock sites. Wow, the lava flow is pretty cool but scary. More very cool drone shots. No idea about the rock colours, but interesting. The darker slate colour looks a bit like lava? (He says, trying to sound knowledgable but has no idea). Ooh Pete….Go West… 😂. We loved this. Hope you’re both well, would love to catch up for a pint soon x

Hey Rach and Wills 😊 👋, We hope you have both had a good week and that work hasn't been quite so mental! 🤞. You really hit the nail on the head here guys, making amazing memories like this, and having the films we create to look back and remember them, it really is something special, and we think why we all do it! P and I always say it will be so cool to look back on these times when we are too old to hike in the mountains anymore ❤ ⛰️. This was such an epic day, the scenery almost didn't seem real! It was pretty easy to get the drone shots with jaw dropping views like this. Ooh thanks for the tip on selling the drone shots Wills, something we will definitely look into, might bring in a few more pennies for Christmas 😊🤞👍. Haha yes, Pete won't be quitting his day job to pursue a signing career any time soon🙈😄.
