As someone who is planning on hopefully getting a rorqual in a few months (getting into serious nullsec mining, just need like 7bil for accounts and then I can get the ball rolling and expand from there) this was very helpful. E: for the fitting, since it seems to be a topic of discussion, my alliance/coalitions fitting is basically the same as yours, same low slots, almost same mids, except with 2 cap boosters rather than 1 and the ancil, also the rigs are 2 operational solidified IIs, one Safeguard II.

@@floppyspud so most Rorq Pilots fly mining Rigs for the dope ISK but forget that you lose quite a chunk of ISK when you die with it and they are about the same as a hulk... With Tanking Rigs A good active rep/ancil fit, w/ 2 cap boosters, can survive quite long against a lot, exept init...

The way you sound Rorqual is very unique. Most people put the emphasis on the first syllable, and make it rhyme like "get swole".

One thing to note for the bridging module. While you can conduit jump with all the barges this takes a significant amount of fuel. Where as if you just bridge and the barges jump it only costs 1 point of fuel per barge. Waayyyy cheaper. Just more annoying

its less fuel not one unit of fuel i think it works out to half personally i am lazy and just conduiting is worth the cost vs trying to right click and jump each hulk

back when i first started to play, i wanted a massive mining ship (aka Rorqual) and send out my drones to strip out as much as possible. seeing as to how it's all changed after i upped the skills it just makes me want to cry or fliptable. But it's a game... not a game that i've built, and can't get my character to low sec without some sort of other help due to local wars and blockades. I don't want to just pilot a buff ship :P . oh well... damn games what a waste.

if you hit panic always red cycle your industrial core you can always reactivate it after panic but if your being saved and you run another cycle after panic you can be killed it stops the faxes from being able to save you

So..... has anyone ever ran any kind of analytics on the guy that ganked all the orcas? The terms of service say you can't remake characters to avoid consequences. The dude had 20 accounts, but he killed 30+ orcas. Which means that he was deleting characters to make new ones to avoid the security status penalty.
