Great question. I understand where the question is coming from even if the hands aren't actually behind ball

do you twist your wrist to get the face angle slightly to the right when hitting a fade, or do you re-grip the club when the club is facing that direction?

Caller was right. Rory’s hands are more ahead for his draw and less ahead for his fade.

OMG.... The guy was correct, in theory. Rory did have his hand less in font of the ball on the fade then the draw

Well...actually it's the ball that is forward. The swing is exactly the same

The technical aspects of hitting a draw and slice needed more explanation. Along with why the first explanation of how to hit it both ways was incorrect, considering pros used this technique for decades. Most videos I see. The player or instructor don't actually do what they think they are doing when you watch their swing at full speed

If your hand is behind the ball at impact, the shot will be weak and the launch angle will be high. The reason that guy can hit a draw by doing this is because his club face angle is more close at impact due to his cupped wrist. and The reason he hit fade when ball stay behind the his hand is because he did not properly release the club at impact and therefore club face remain open and thus fade the ball or more like push fade

@@itonylee1 they show at impact Rory's fade and draw . His hands are more forward on the draw then the fade.

@@golfish8589 yes, the swing path is also inside out and cause the ball to draw. The reason that ball draw has nothing to do with hand position at impact in my opinion.
