I was there on the North Shore 1971 Sept - December surfing all the spots and watching all the top guys of that era! My first wave was at Rocky point ! Surfed Velzyland , Pipe ,Sunset , Haleiwa , I was 19 !I remember watching Rory killing it @ Pipeline

Love this guy! Grew up on the North Shore, Kahuku red raiders, me and Ronnie Burns dreaming of being just like Rory, Jerry, Shaun, Buttons, etc etc etc. What a great time. Aloha brada!!

This guy, and Gerry, was my style life inspiration! I wanna be like them... I didn't go live in hawaii but I found another nice island to live, Florianópolis/Brasil.... wish meet them some day.
