STOKED! EPISODE 1 STARRING RORY RUSSELL

In this episode, come hangout with Rory Russell, worldwide surfing champion and shaper, at "San O" and in his shaping bay. Discover the definition of stoke, as Rory and friends of the San Onofre Surfing Club enjoy a beautiful day at "Old Man's" and offer colorful commentary on the California surfing lifestyle. We are also treated to a shaping lesson by the 2x Pipeline Champion with an intimate look at the legacy Rory has been creating with his "Pipeliner" surfboards.
STOKED! is a new film series by Eric Minh Swenson, director of Mana, that celebrates the spirit and love for California's beaches and passion for it's heralded surfing culture. The series of film journal will keep in the tradition in preserving the rich heritage of Southern California's beach lifestyle that has influenced art and culture throughout the worldly.
STOKED! is an open invitation to all beach-going enthusiasts and surfers to participate at pre-scheduled events throughout the year and various locations along California's coastline. The series of films will be posted online as the continuing Take 1 Art Series by EMS as part of the film survey that documents the art world throughout California.
