I've posted several videos giving both BLACKPINK and ROSÉ a chance after being critical of the song APT. I still have the same feelings I do about that song, but my feelings on the artist ROSÉ is have evolved because, with an open mind, I gave her a chance beyond the first song I disliked. If you would like to be close minded and not give me a chance because I disliked the first song of hers I heard, I can't change your mind. I would also point out that, if that's the case, you're part of the reason more people don't listen to her music. People are afraid of people like you. Maybe try spreading positivity before negativity if you really want people to share your passion for her music. I love you and pray you have a blessed life.

I love this song, but my favorite covers by Rose are Viva La Vida (Pachinko 2 theme song, more heartfelt and emotional than her studio version) and Read My Mind. Wow! She is so talented, she has the power to sound like Haley Williams yet have her own voice at the same time! I was a huge fan of paramore to the point I had a Haley Williams haircut in high school! The artist in this is really doing great at not taking anything from the original artist but adding an element of value to this! I'm glad you're enjoying these stripped back sessions, and strongly suggest you continue with the other "Sea of Hope" and acoustic covers. Edit - one I haven't seen recommended yet is the duet of "Lucky" with Onew, also on the beach. Her 12 song solo album drops December 6th. "Apt." is on there, but I'm sure there will be a variety of styles. Part of the reason "Apt" is popular with her fans is that it is such a departure from the heartbreak/deep in the feels songs she usually does. Most of her covers trend towards indy/folk/acoustic, and her three solo songs under YG (Blackpink's label) are more pop with pensive lyrics ("Gone", "On the Ground", and "Hard to Love"). Down the road, after you're even more familiar with Rose', I'd respectfully suggest that you give "Apt." another chance, this time looking at it through the lens of watching a serious artist that you admire finally getting a chance to just have some silly fun. While you probably will still have the same feelings about the song itself, you may have different associations with it. Cheers.

I also like this cover more than the original. I went to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour with Paramore as opener and when they played this song I actually thought of Rosé's cover. The original is still beautiful too of course and I loved hearing it at the concert. I think Rosé's voice is just special and has the ability to make every song even more beautiful, but maybe I'm a little bit biased. Looking forward to more Blackpink and Rosé related content, because I just love hearing people's honest opinions and critics about music that I love! Blackpink also has some slower songs if that's more up your alley. I can recommend "Hope Not" (2019), "You Never Know" (2020) and "The Happiest Girl" (2022). They're not promotional singles, so there's no official video, but there are fanmade color coded lyric videos. (Probably getting annoying at this point, because I already said it twice in other comments, but please consider to check out the girl group (G)I-DLE and please don't give them up after one listen if you happen to dislike whatever song you may start with. I don't think you would, because you also continued reacting to Rosé, but I just wanted to say this. Also don't feel pressured to check them out at all, I feel like I sound way too pushy. FYI : (don't mind my English ) The program you are watching is called "Sea of Hope" which is kind of Healing genres show, where a group of singers went to the beach and open a little restaurant to serve people food while giving them a show of their singing. It's similar with a busking concept. They made the program at post-covid times in order to entertain and heal the people. The program is really cozy and healing. there's a lot of good cover coming from the program and I recommend the program a lot. If you have some time and want to have some chilling time, I recommend this program and of course if you want to make a reaction content, that would be great contents to watch anytime.
