@@fajitv9970 yes, that is a Nazareno. The song is all about a toxic relationship that she's in and what she is representing with the Nazareno is that he is supposed to be this very open minded guy, very modern and stuff but in reality he's very traditional and retrograde. Nice video 👌

I loved your reaction to this video. Thank you. I only discovered Rosalia myself about a month ago and have been completely obsessed as I think she is an incredible artist. Did you know this song is the first in her El Mal Querer Album which was her dissertation at university where she studied Flamenco? The album is based on a story by an unknown writer from medieval times about a woman called Flamenca who married a man who later kept her prisoner as he was so jealous. Rosalia intended her album to reflect the struggle of a toxic relationship but also bring forth the strength in the female character to surpass this. Each song is like a chapter with Malamente being the first telling the story of a woman who can see the signs of a bad relationship but proceeds all the same. There is an incredible amount of symbolism in the video which is too much to get into here but I believe there are some videos out there that go into it quite deeply if you want. Most of her work is amazing but some stand out more than others. I would love for you to review Aunque es de Noche (oficial video), A Palé (written as a response to haters), De Plata (live in Seville is better than the video IMO), De Aqui No Sales, and Juro Que (video). She writes, composes and produces her work herself (also involved with all the visuals) with the help of her friend and producer El Guincho and her sister is her stylist. Lastly, I want to point out the fact that she always manages to look fantastic despite never showing too much or being trashy which unfortunately most female artists have gravitated towards in the last few years especially in Latin American music and I commend her for it!
