Rosary Luminous - Mother Angelica

Mother Mary Angelica of the Annunciation, PCPA (born Rita Antoinette Rizzo on April 20, 1923) is an American Franciscan nun best known as a television personality and the founder of the Eternal Word Television Network.
In 1944, she entered the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, a Franciscan religious order for women, as a postulant, and a year later she was admitted to the order as a novice. She went on to find a new house for the order in 1962 in Irondale, Alabama, where the EWTN is headquartered, and in 1996 she initiated the building of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of the Angels monastery in Hanceville, Alabama.
Mother Angelica hosted shows on EWTN until she suffered a stroke in 2001. She is a recipient of the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Award granted by Pope Benedict XVI and lives in the cloistered monastery in Hanceville. BonumTV

I used to listen to these rosaries on my way in to work at 4:45 AM. It meant so much to me. Mother Angelica may have left us here on earth, but is so close to us in her rosaries. I found these video rosaries and as I listened to them once again after many months I realize what a timeless treasure has been left for us. Today I prayed multiple rosaries along with the videos and I felt uplifted and moved emotionally by Mother's voice. I never met Mother, but I have heard on the radio and TV of the many testimonies about her life and how the media empire came to be. Thank you very much for posting these Holy Rosary videos with Mother Angelica and her Sisters. I very much appreciate hearing and seeing them without the added "music" that has ruined the original ones that were aired on EWTN. There is something very wonderful about hearing the Nuns and everyone else praying the Holy Rosary without music. That is how I prayed the Rosary in Catholic School with the nuns and kids when I was very young, and I love to hear it again.

I read the last book mother's grand silence. It was so sad what happened to the order once mother was bedridden. She really suffered over the division in the community. In one of the chapers in the book, it says the extern nuns were disbanded and sent home. Also I think many cloistered left. Very sad. It seemed like such a thriving order on TV. In my opinion I don't think their would be such division if mother didn't get so sick. Mother Angelica ( her programs have enlightened my heart to love Jesus more. May the Lord bless her in heaven.

Catholics do not worship Mary, but ask her to pray for us. That is not worship. We worship only the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. People in heaven are not dead, but part of the living body of Christ, and they do pray for us, as we read in Rev 5:8. www.catholic.com/tract/the-rosary
