Noises about Aston rebooting their top level Endurance division tells me that that Lawrence is looking for somewhere else to put his son.

Lance should go pursue his tennis dream instead of dragging Aston Martin down.

Honestly Lance ain’t a bad driver he’s scored podiums in f1 he can drive a car. But I think he would definitely do better in WEC or IMSA maybe like super formula. He’s got talent but it’s not f1 quality talent.

@@bobbyblair8478He's had his moments, he's definitely no Mazepin or Latifi... But he's not pulling his weight at Aston Martin. Fernando is showing what the car is capable of, Lance is nowhere near that limit.

I really doubt that's the reason why. Lawrence would never drop his son from the F1 team.

Nico Rosberg has the weirdest communication style. It' s like he cant decide if he wants to be this sweet new aged empathetic beta type guy or if he want to be a Helmut Marko type blunt & controversial?

Remember at the beginning of the season, when Fernando "I left those Alpine a-holes that have now been fired" Alonso was all, look at Lance, he's so great, he's so wonderful, Lance is a boy genius, and everyone was like wtf is he on about. I think there was a clause in his contract that said he had to say 10 nice things about him in the press, and when he'd fulfilled that, he hasn't said anything since. I don't mind a Nepo baby proving himself on merit, but everyone is still parroting the same statements on Lance of "he has potential," and "he was good 3 years ago," and "he didn't have the car." Well clearly that car argument has been thrown out the window, so again, what is the excuse now. Lance literally drove better with one finger and half a toe start of the season, how has he not managed to improve on that?

Because the car has been developed to suit Alonso’s driving style with lots of understeer. Even other drivers like Kimi, Vandoorne, Massa, etc have had their form massively drop stepping into an Alonso car.

That would be detrimental for Danny’s career. Get smacked by lando then turn around and get smacked by alonso. That would definitely be his last drive.

Just a thought, so Aston Martin is apparently bringing back their lmh program for 2025 so Lance could be gone a year and a half

Lance having had many seasons to learn has developed into dead average midfield driver with pronounced peaks and troughs. Few drivers would have had such patient employers.

How many years do you get to “have potential” before it’s clear you don’t? I’ve got respect for Nico, but he’s just plain wrong. He’s a good enough driver, if you need a driver to finish 70% of the races and score 20-30 points. I don’t know where a driver like that belongs on the grid. Williams needs a driver that crashes less, Alfa has better options, Alpha would never, Alpine has better options, even Haas needs a driver who crashes less and has better options.

I thinnk he was over-rated as well. Yeah he won a bunch of years, but I think it mostly just the car. What did he accomplish at Ferrari? or even against Stroll? compared to Alonso not much.

@@enriquejavier8056There is zero basis for comparison between Alonso's Aston Martin stint and Vettel's Aston Martin stint because the cars are night and day in terms of competitiveness. It's not even close. Vettel in this car would produce similar results to Alonso if not better. Hardly rocket science. Also what did Vettel accomplish at Ferrari? Top 3 all time in Race wins, Podiums and Points at Ferrari. That's what he accomplished. You new age fanboys have zero clue about the sport.
