What a wonderful video. It must take hours and hours and hours to prune all those beautiful roses. They all look incredibly healthy. Wow! I like how they are arranged within a square bed with multiples of the same variety. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.

Thank you for watching! I do wonder how and when they prune all those roses. Perhaps they are pruned mechanically by a machine or at least with the help of some mechanical tool? I do not even know if it is possible. On the other hand, there was no visible damage to the stems so I suppose they have a team of volunteers who work at night ;-) I suppose you noticed the condition of the boxwood hedges. Your "visitor" had invaded that park too, it was quite obvious, unfortunately.

Lovely English. The roses looked very healthy. They looked pruned low and packed in? Them standard tree roses looked awesome. Hope you had a great time in Austria :)

Thank you, on behalf of the roses :-) They were in orderly rows, pruned quite low, with bare soil underneath. I didn't see anyone doing the dead-heading, perhaps they do it at night ;-) I had to edit the video quite drastically, otherwise there would have been an hour of "boring" rose bushes in various forms and sizes. Both gardens are quite educational, really worth a visit if you happen to come to mainland Europe again. I had a great time in Vienna, I went to lots of dance classes!
