Suicide is a decision made by the perpetrator especially if an adult with a long history of depression and most certainly other suicide attempts. Rose McGowan was speaking out telling her truth about her horrific experience in an honest and forthright way. To blame her for another’s suicide is not only irresponsible, but absolutely ridiculous In counseling, loved ones left behind after a suicide, it is always stressed that it was no one else’s fault (if of course intentional harassment to that end was absent). You can’t have it both ways.

Rose freaked out. She was raised in "The Family", which was a sex cult of the seventies, and the whole issue of rape is loaded for her. She clearly has issues with this, not her fault I'm sure. I suspect her stepping forward with her experience with Weinstein is probably more pressure than she can handle and she went off ranting at the transgender. The rest of the book tour cancelled on her after that.

Want an awful way to slant this story IE. Blaming Rose for a suicide of a woman, who clearly knew the truth about that man & still put Rose in a bad situation alone with a rapist. It isn't lost on me that they played a small clip of an argument Rose got into. They all protected Harvey. They all knew. To have the audacity to try to make the victim feel someone's suicide is her fault?! Gross. Barbara Walters energy. She likely took her life out of her immense guilt that she was a handler feeding The Monster victims for his appetite.

Now it seems that a playful pat on the ass twenty years ago that was considered flirting is now sexual abuse. I believe some were abused and got attention they didn’t want but most? No way!

Trying to get more publicity for her book? She just canceled her book tour so that makes no sense. Rose did not receive a "playful pat on the ass", she was full on raped, or what might being easier for you: she was rapped. Just because your life was more relevant two decades ago doesn't mean everyone else is living in the past. Also, who is "we" that you're referring to?? You and your geriatric, narrow-minded facebook group that you belong to? Rose sued Harvey for the rape in 1997. As for the other actresses, if I had to speculate, probably because Harvey Weinstein was the most powerful man in Hollywood and he threatened their careers. Why don't you take some time off from the internet, JoAnn? You come off as very uneducated, misinformed and insensitive. I think you'd be doing a lot of people a favor if you just piped down for awhile.

WHen it's her story and her purpose is to change the culture, peoples perspectives, and to raise up women... all admirable causes... But then just give you book out to people... or write a publication for all to see (free newsletter, an open letter etc.)... more people would read it.. and you wouldn't look like a douchebag looking for another paycheque, because it seems like she's standing on the heads of victims... claiming to be the righteous leader... but also asking people to spend their hard earned money buying her book....? ummmmmmmmmmmm......
