I love they way you introduce yourself and announce what you will be doing. You do not spend half the utube video talking nonsense and talking about yourself. You do not announce who is online and from what country people are from online as done in live videos. So much time wasted. You are a professional teacher. I have taken two of your classes in Houston. I have watched many of your videos. Thank you

Oooooooo...I'm so excited to do this for my newest project...my "art jacket". I found a denim jeans jacket at the thrift shop. While watching I was taken aback at how the center could be an eyeball staring into the soul of the person behind me. Off to my cutting table I go.💖💯💥

I just noticed that by the time you are adding on the medium first piece and are laying it on the others that the way you have it sewn that it looks like an eye of a whale looking at you, lol. Idk. But I am excited to give this a try. Think with some of my scrap fabrics that it will look nice in the end. Love how you can do something beautiful and so forgiving taking the hard core cutting out of it and making some random free form work to still produce a piece that looks like it took so long and stressful to not even being that at all. I am always looking for something so different yet still beautiful allowing people to think that I must have worked for hours on end to get the achieved look. :)

Your cute little voice and the easy looking directions make me want to try this. It looked so complicated with the finished pieces in the thumbnail, I wouldn't have thought I could make it in a million years! I do some free form quilting without having a plan at all, and I sure get bogged down sometimes. I think this will be a fun project to try.

Wow thanks Karen for showing this block. I've never cut any pattern or block, but this looks a great place to start. I started off sewing in November lockdown after watching your Accidental Landscapes and fell in love with them. Still learning to make my own fabric landscapes from photos of places I've loved. You started me on my journey, now I can give blocks a try too. Xx

This is a gorgeous looking rose quilt and it is spectacular in colour. Perhaps I will make one for myself in the near future. I thought at first there is a waste of material there by the time you cut off the added weight. But in the end of the video looking at the finished product you have made a beautiful rose quilt like none other. I hope to see the other colors made into the rose, too. Keep up the good work and happy sewing!
