I saw some film of her at the Town House Party in California and in 1958, she was on fire way ahead of her time and absolutely beautiful. None better and she is the Queen of Rockabilly and the Princess Of Rock and Roll behind Rose Maddox by her own admission. I’m very proud she’s from my home state of Oklahoma the foundation of Rock and country music. She’s an example for everyone how to live and I was just so grateful I got to open her show in Tulsa.

I have been a huge fan of Wanda Jackson since I was first introduced to her and her music in 1962. I do have to agree with Bruce Riley, she should have been inducted years ago. She is a true music STAR and by her actions and songs, she helped other women and girl singers to launch their own careers.

It is possible to be in show business and not be an addict or get involved in scandals. Live a good life. You can still have fun

I heard she told a story to my friend Chris who owned the Magic Bus record store about making bologna sandwiches with tomatoes and mayonnaise for her preacher. I saw her a couple of times and she was so amazing.

As great a band as any ever. And each one was integral to its greatness. I'm glad Elvis mentioned Bruce, but he could have just swallowed the shit and not mentioned it. Bruce was to blame, too, but as Elvis said, the HOF was not the place to even mention the petty BS.I bet he regrets it now.
