Y'kno someone like John Waters, or David Lynch, or David Cronenberg are usually characterized as "weirdos" and yet whenever they're interviewed, it's always so classy and reserved.

Roseanne is kind of a bad interviewer really...but she does seem to match Waters more than most interviewers...most can't compete with him (although, he's obviously such a lovely guy most don't even try). I felt a small wave of distress come from him when Roseanne did her 'pro capital punishment' bit...even though I'm now watching this show on the internet about 15 years later

She's nuts and will never work again because she can't be trusted. Too bad because she's good when directed but she thinks she can direct, produce, write and perform which is too much and fed her ego.

You know, the rehabilitation thing is tough. I go back and forth on it when it comes to murderers. I always ask myself how I would feel if the victim's family was me, and I'm not sure i would ever want them out, or even alive. But yes, if you take all t the emotions and compassion and place.It instead on the criminal it's easy to make a case for rehabilitation. And I'm sure some would never do crime again. That doesn't erase their murders though. Those Manson kids were kinda brainwashed as well. It gets complicated as you go to individual cases and not everything is black and white. It's an interesting discussion though.

I MISS this Roseanne, the woman we knew and loved before she lost focus and got too wrapped up in politics and conspiracy theories like so many people her age have. I still think she's a very talented woman if she'd just keep her political and conspiracy filled opinions to herself and just let that funny, open minded side shine. I do think society and the industry kinda did go a bit far with the whole witch hunt and pretty much doing a modern day burning at the stake by destroying her online. I was hoping after some time as things cooled down regarding all that, she'd one day slowly make a comeback and find a way to be forgiven but her most recent interviews where she's spewing a bunch of conspiracies said a lot and she's clearly still caught in a bad spot and I hope she can at least break out of that way of thinking for her own happiness if nothing else.
@jackieradley10254 жыл бұрын
She's got legit mental issues and I give the benefit of the doubt cause ambien does make you do weird shit while you're half conscious, but she did fall down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole of crazy shit.

I think so, too. She's turning 65 this year, she's nothing like she was 45 years ago. I know the LaBiancas can never be brought back to life, but I think she deserves another chance in society - according to Waters' book, Role Models, members of the Bader Meinhoff were released - they were incarcerated after Van Houten and they've since been released. So...come on.
@rickyparker44364 жыл бұрын
Leslie technically never killed anyone. She was forced to stab Rosemary Labianca in the lower back 12 times by Tex Watson AFTER she was dead. That's what you call post-mortem. Leslie was actually released from prison in 1978 because of a hung jury but was put back in because of her ties to the "family" and Charles Manson. Tex watson admitted he killed Leno and Rosemary Labianca mostly himself. Patricia Krenwinkle DID inflict a few stab wounds to Rosemary Labianca but Tex Watson finished her off. He told Patricia Krenwinkle to carve the word WAR in Leno Labiancas stomach and to write things on the wall in blood. She wrote Rise and Death to Pigs on the walls in the living room and Helter Skelter spelled "Healter Skealter" on the white Philips refrigerator in the kitchen.
