Tom Arnold is a very funny guy, I would have loved to see him in more movies, he was great in True Lies. Roseanne is just an amazing woman, she really earned her fame and her show was huge for me and my family, I think she explained the joke away, give us all her brilliance back

@@lindadechiazza2924 No, rather trying to understand the style and techniques because I find the harder tones delivered with a fine air of subtle class works well as that the delivery doesn't end up merely being nothing more than Greek aischrologia. It's rather she's manages to fix the comedic error of George Carlin- and I'm attempting to figure out why as to avoid it.

She did some of these jokes on HBO a few months later which was more funny but she had to edit on here because of the MDA being family oriented and profanity free.

Wow her act is cringe-worthy. Same jokes are fine but the audience is what makes it or breaks it with stand-up. Crappy audience makes the performer seem crappy. But we all know Roseanne Rocks!

Sorry - BS | When they kill, (certain) comics claim it's them. When they bomb, it's (always) "the audience." In other words, they're funny every single time, every single joke, even when trying out new material. Since when-ever they bomb...it's (always) "the audience." Yup - If only such a comic could get the "right" audiences...his or her gigs would be sold out.
