Thank you Kathy. Your podcasts are ALWAYS so valuable and educational. Listening to Dr Shiple made so much sense, yet we either make so much hard work out of doing this simple thing every day, or most people don't even know about it and as she said, we all often run around on autopilot, then blame everything external to US for the world that we find ourselves in.

The issue is that giving oneself instead of to someone in more need, causes a deep sense of guilt. There is partly some trauma behind that, but also, it is wonderful to be able to give and help others. The circle opens up when giving to others. The circle keeps closed when giving to oneself instead of someone in MORE need.

I fit that description pretty well at the start of the video. The big problem is self loathing; that’s a hard thing to shake. I’ve been to countless therapists, and I still can’t get myself on my own “friend list”!

I used to be the same - I had Dissociative Toxic Shame since I was 13 which I practised for 30 years. It's an art 🙃 Hypnotherapy didn't really work either as my blocks were heavily conditioned, but using EFT eventually did. I made the mistake of training as a coach where I could hold the space for others, but when my C-PTSD came up I tried to tap through it alone. A very painful experience that I wouldn't recommend. I don't know what your history is or who gave you the self loathing you have (and it helps to be able to "see" the you that is telling the story you have) but there will be an EFT coach/life coach/healer who will be able to guide you through getting back to the top of your friend's list. I might not be perfect, but that's okay too - I'm allowed to have flaws, and so are you. I wish you the best because that's what you deserve! 🤗🙏💫💕
