Rosedale Valley, North York Moors - 11 March 2023

A 12 mile walk, starting for the car park on Blakey Ridge, the route heads south along the old Rosedale Railway line to the kilns at Chimney Bank. Descending to Rosedale Abbey the route heads to Hill Cottages before joining the old railway line again and then heading back around the Rosedale Valley anti-clockwise back to the start.

Superb video. I’ve done this walk about 90 times in all weathers. It’s my favourite walk by a mile. To do it in the snow must have been fantastic. Thank you!
