Just a little ramble, but when you think about it both of the tsugikuni brothers are so tragic it actually hurts 😭 both wanted what eachother had (like yoriichi wanting a bloodline, and michikatsu wanting power). AND NOT ONLY THAT the fact they’re twins but one is overshadowed by the other?? Like, i feel like michikatsu was so upset because they were twins, they should have the same abilities, being on par, being the same ykyk? Ngl though, Kokushibo had every right to be a demon. If anyone was in his position, they'd take it he was always said to be better than his brother, who never trained, never did anything like he did. But in one day, he did 100x better than him, Then proceeded to be stronger even when Michikatsu was obviously training harder. But it comes to adulthood, seeing your friends. Allies, pass once they turn 24 with a mark, and your brother is alive after that point, and you can't be. That'll make you mad, like imagine your twin can outlive you when having the same thing, it'll drive you crazy thinking about how the pure laziness and unmotivated brother gets to live longer than the hardworking one, even as a demon he was closing the gap but sadly his power stopped due to plot
