A recipe I saw once in Sunset magazine, said most fresh fruit has natural pectins. Use 2 cups of fruit and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Mix well in a large glass bowl. Put in microwave on medium power level for 7 minutes. Will boil up and down. Watch to make sure it doesn't boil over. Stir and put back in microwave for another 7 minutes. Pour into jars. If doesn't get thick, some fruits don't have as much pectins as others. Try adding a chopped up apple that are high in pectins.
