Rosendale, I've been listening to your songs since you realeaed "Still can't sleep", it was also at the end of May, also on a Friday, I think. That weekend four years ago I cried while listening that song, it released at the right moment, exactly when I needed it to let out my feelings. I've been kinda dealing with self doubt recently. Especially about my voice. I've been told so many times how young I sound to the point where now I'm afraid people will think I'm a kid because of my voice. I told a close friend of mine how I feel about my voice and he told me that he didn't think of my voice as "young sounding". Then he said this "Don't try to lose your voice. It's adorable." Now I don't know if I should even try to make myself sound older or just keep my voice the way it is. I don't know how more of my friends would react to me wanting to change my voice. I'm just so tired of people assuming I'm a kid, and I'm aware that my voice is one of the main reasons why

You said you're unsure of what to do. Do what makes you happy. Your friend would want you to be happy too, no matter what your voice sounds like. However, don't think that you _have to_ or should change anything about yourself. If you do change something, do it for yourself. I unterstand why you're annoyed, I look quite young, so I know kinda what it's like, but think of it as something positive. Seeming young is somethig you will lose as you get older. Young is not a negative adjective for a voice, I'm sure your voice is beautiful. And it's YOURS. It's perfect the way it is.

To me, I look 15. I have a photo of myself when I was actually 15, and my face hasn't changed at all, and I'm 21, almost going to be 22. It also doesn't help that I am also short, I'm 5'0 ft. So a lot of people think I'm a kid both IRL and online Heck, someone that saw me IRL didn't believe that I'm 21 Also, I understand to do what makes me happy, but I'm just not sure if more of my friends actually want me to keep my voice the way it is, but I'm sure they would understand. I hope-

We're actually quite similar then, I'm also a young adult and keep getting mistaken for a 15/16 year old. Personally, I don't mind it too much, I just really dislike people not taking me seriously, not listening to me, but my appearance doesn't necessarily have to be the cause of that. If it is, then that's... I don't know... it just feel like it's wrong. I feel like you shouldn't dislike your voice because of others. I hope you understand what I mean. You know you're not a kid, your friends know. That's what matters, right? There are always going to be people who judge you like that without knowing you and it could be _anything_ that a person look down on you, it could be your nose, your hair colour, and so on. It's like how you can't please everyone. And you shouldn't. They're your friends, I hope they're good ones. If they are, they will support you always. Believe in them.
