I was just at an oudoor wedding with 2 Catholics, one a widower, one separated from her first husband and waiting on a decree of nullity from her archdiocese - it had been delayed/not approved yet. I felt like i was spitting in the face of our Lord attending this wedding, and there was a Catholic priest in attendance giving some kind of blessing with a layperson doing the vows. Father I appreciate what you are doing. But please advise on situations like this. It cannot be valid? If it is, then the post V2 Catholic Church is not for me.

This is a difficult situation for you, and my nephew is having a wedding at golf course and fiancé Catholic. I told him that their wedding would not be a valid marriage. Unfortunately, you should not have attended the wedding. Per Canon law, a Catholic must be married in the proper form for a sacramental marriage in a Catholic Church.

Remember Our Lady asked years after being in Portugal and Sister Lucia was in a convent in Tuy. Jesus said it will be done but too late. And the Pope will be like the King of France. Christ is referring to how the King of France didn’t consecrate France to the Sacred Heart like Sr Margaret Mary expressed to him. 100 years to the date the King of France was arrested and eventually beheaded. So I’m guessing that’s where someone would get 2029.
