Rosie O'Donnell is responding to her 19-year-old daughter's claim that her upbringing wasn't 'normal.' On Thursday, Rosie's daughter, Vivienne, posted a TikTok saying she loves her mom, 'but one thing she's not done is normal.' Rosie then responded with her own TikTok video reacting to that assertion.

I come from a long line of musicians, and I had the good fortune to meet a lot of musical legends as I was growing up. They were all regular people, interesting people showed run into at family events and backstage at concerts. We didn’t treat these ‘family friends’ any differently, but my parents made damn sure I knew their music, even if I didn’t appreciate it at the time. Music education is important in so many ways. It’s also important to know how your family connections were formed and to hear all of the great ‘behind the scenes’ stories straight from the source. That being said…my childhood was anything but normal, (whatever normal is), and I’m so grateful for that! I was loved and taken care of, and that’s all that matters.

I've never been a big Rosie fan. At the same time, common sense tells me she did the best she could with what parenting skills she had. The problem is these entitled kids who shoot their mouths off yet know nothing. I'm a Republican and I DO BELIEVE that Rosie worked her butt off, she succeeded and she has a lot of love. That's not a daughter, it's a leech.
