It's still nice to hope, though, isn't it? I wouldn't say the Russia scandal is a complete farce either. While we don't know for certain that Trump himself is a direct colluder, people from his campaign have had too many strange ties to Russian officials. And then there are facts we can see without the media's specific narrative, like Trump rage-tweeting through all of this, and his administration making very clear contradictions regarding the campaign's timeline and the positions of Paul M. and George P. The situation is sketchy enough that it merits consideration. We will simply have to watch what happens.
