Just wondering. Have you ever tried coconut oil instead of trex (Crisco here in the states)? I'm finding that my Crisco has a smell after a while although my can is new. I make a lot of model pieces of my gumpaste figures, some just for practice as I perfect my designs. After about 2 weeks, my pieces smell of rancid oil and I know it has to be my Crisco. I've checked my can of Crisdo and it smells fine, it's just my figurines that smell rancid about 2 weeks after they've dried. I'm not sure what other veg fat to try, or even if it has to be veg fat.

Saw her at Cake International show at excel at the beginning and end, she only asked 'how do I look on screen does he make me look good' that was it, at the clearing away she ignored me when I asked her how long it took for her to make Big Ben, she ignored me and was basking in the glory of her few assistants circling her in adoration. She was standing just in front of me but I had to speak to her through her assistant, then she answer 'oh I don't know'. Got onto this video by mistake did not know it was her. The Queen spoke direct to her subjects when out not through an assistant. That's dignity.

Nice Shall I ask for the brand of your fondant ? When I used toppers fondant on my creamy cake, it loosens and melting 😢
@RosieCakeDiva13 жыл бұрын
Add some tylo powder to give it a little strength. I use lots of different brands of fondant to be honest

Great demo Rose, did you rest the pastillage? Another I can't ever imagine you angry ❤
@RosieCakeDiva13 жыл бұрын
No. Not really. Technically the gum trag takes a while to intensify but to be honest by the time I’ve started modelling it’s usually good enough. And this is my quick fix Pastillage after all 😉

instead of egg white what else I can use ??
@RosieCakeDiva13 жыл бұрын
You can make it with meriwhite (dried egg white powder) but it tends not to dry as hard. xx

@@RosieCakeDiva1 no no i means in any form 0% egg .?? no egg white , no egg powder, no egg yolk (yellow part)..
@RosieCakeDiva13 жыл бұрын
@@lightningcat9327 you can try it with Chickpea juice (aquafaba). It works for royal icing too but will probably just take longer to dry xx

What is tylo powder?
@RosieCakeDiva13 жыл бұрын
@@kathyandthedogs626 it’s just a powder that strengthens. You can buy it in most cake decorating shops and on Amazon.

I tried Yenner's pastillage and it turned out rubbery. It's like one big glob of rubber. I can imagine what happened.

I was reading the comments to see if I could find some more information on her pastillage like how to store it and for how long? I noticed she didn't answer any of the questions. I find that very rude of her. What a shame.
