Russians prefer 100 or 200 AK series to AK 12. It still needs improvement. I own AK 104( Sayga 33 7,64x39) with a little tuning it's more reliable and stable than AK12.

@@vig237 That's fine. But I still see the AK-400 series derivative as a very promising small-arms platform. I'm pretty confident that once all the fitment problems (among others) have been fixed, then it'll really become a game-changer.

But if the V Infantry formation is close/ I.e. One Soldier close to Each other/ then when Enemy Fire with Machine Gun almost all the Squad Will be Hit. Slower muzzle velocity, higher recoil, much higher ammo weight. Only benefit is increased barrier penetration, against armor it’s worse than 5,45. Against soft targets m43 (most common round used in conflicts by far) tumbles very deeply into the body, often after already leaving the target leaving a wound comparable to a 7,62 tokarev handgun bullet. All military 5,45 bullets tumble very early in tissue leaving impressive wounds. Only reason to have 7,62x39 is for engaging vehicles or through thick vegetation (reason why Finns still use it). In most cases 5,45 is the superior cartridge

No front hook needed like the AK74M Top Rail Feels strong Adjustable Stock Neutral : No threads on muzzle break means quick removal, but lack of compatibility with old parts. not many accessory , If only Russian army had standard issue suppressors. Bad: Harder to clean and gas plug is lost easily. The selector catch is too small. had to add weld to keep from pushing it to far. plastic hand guard will not keep zero on lasers. the ak74m is a better rifle in my opinion.

Tbh it is more of a rush job if anything. The Ak12 prototype had a lot of good ideas. But everyone knew that such a radical departure from the Ak series in terms of both a manufacturing and design aspect would stand little chance of getting adopted by the Russian military. It would end up being like the An94. As a result they hackneyed this rifle to meet a deadline. I don't think the rifle is the worst of it's class. Many others take that title but it certainly demands more development time.

It doesn't resemble the pure AK 47 anymore. Maybe instinct, but it looks really really ugly.

The Kalashnikov assault rifle is like a snake, beautiful but deadly Kalashnikov is a Russian national symbol. When you hear the name of the country of Russia, the Kalashnikov immediately comes to mind that it is the most famous rifle in the whole world. Many people call themselves the Kalashnikov as a symbol of strength. It is a symbol of many liberation and struggle movements in the world

You can always shoot and kill the American invader with AK riffle in any war. This is a fact since Vietnam, Iraq and Afganistan.

Yes but the Tactics the Russian use in Ukraine Are WWI Tactics. And the entire Tactic was Stupid from beginning. Why waste a S-300 Missile On a Civilian Target since A Clever Individual in Tactics could use first S -300 Missiles in Order To knock down Ukraine Air Force Radar Capability And put holes in Ukraine Air Force bases airfields So Enemy Air Capability Is reduced from beginning And One can have Superior Air Force Power from Beginning. Russia Tactics in Ukraine are Not smart. Because once One use S -300 and S-400 Missiles In Order to Destroy first Ukraine Radar and Military Airfields then Air Force superiority could Be achieved from beginning. Then under protection of Numerous Air Strikes Ground Forces could Advance with minimum Casualties.
