I've been a fan of Jeff Hardy for about 7 years now and it hurts to see where he's ended up. It is sad to see your heroes be vulnerable to these circumstances and it shows that even superheroes can be human.....I believe Jeff has already made a name for himself and he's GOATED in my opinion so I think Jeff has to retire and spend the rest of his life and focus on himself

Jeff is an amazing wrestler, but unfortunately he's also a perfect example of the negative feedback loop. He refuses help, screws up, faces minimal (if any) consequences, and therefore feels no real reason to change, so he refuses help again.

I got the chance to meet Jeff Hardy back in 2021 and after what happened with Victory Road 2011 with match against Sting when he was in TNA surely would change his life around so if this doesn’t opens his eyes 👀 to realize how he could have thrown everything away, hopefully he will be able to get the help that he needs so he can live peacefully with his family and loved ones! I pray 🙏🏿 that he or this current situation does not turn into the Sunny situation aka Tammy Sytch 😔!

I initially wanted him to have one more run with Matt. Add the AEW tag titles to their accolades (I’m sure that was the plan with the ladder match) and maybe do one last program with Punk (that definitely ain’t happening now, plus I don’t want them to bring up his demons on TV ever again). However they didn’t impress me with their recent run. He’s got too much ring rust from his daredevil style over the years & every time he’s in the spotlight, he just falls right back into that dark place. I’d rather he just retire at this point and focus on getting his life together.

It’s such a bummer that Jeff kept making decisions that weren’t healthy for him. Hearing all about his past troubles to now is just sad. He’s literally one of my favorite wrestlers ever and yet keeps making mistake after mistake. I obviously don’t want anything horrific happening to him but I also don’t want him endangering people like he’s done before, including himself. Unfortunately his toxic relationship with wrestling came to this. Idk if it’s his demanding move set or the life of a wrestler that go to him. I have to be honest these companies, especially WWE for constantly using it as storylines deserve major criticism too. He needed help. Not more pressure and work. He’s never going to say no to a job but it should be these companies best interests to be 100% confident he goes to rehab before hiring him. I hope the best for him. I’m worried it won’t end well but hopefully Tony Khan doesn’t make the same mistakes and TNA and WWE by just bringing him back and straight into the tag title scene before getting the proper care. Realistically he should just retire. Find something he loves doing that doesn’t push him towards addiction and find inner peace

I met Jeff Hardy and talked to him for a good while before and after the fan meet. He is a really soft spoken and respected/respectful person. Truly a pure soul. Sad that the good people always struggle with these things. I myself have struggled with drugs, alcohol, and self harm. I completely empathize with Jeff Hardy. Personally I think a lot of it has to do with the passing of his mom when he was a kid and his father recently passing away as well. I 100% wish the best for him and he will forever be my favorite male wrestler ever. Over anyone in any era. My all time GOAT. My mt. Rushmore would be all the different eras of Jeff Hardy. Truly an anomaly. 💖

Change is scary, unpredictable and turbulent but so was the life I left behind. Infuriates me that he was offered a million chances, rehab that his workplaces I'm sure woulda paid the tab and so many friends and family that he ignored. That's an addict. We think we know everything but refuse to learn anything until it's too late. Only so many times Matt, Bubba Ray, AJ and Sting can sit him down to set him straight. Gotta want it for yourself at the end of the day. I don't feel bad for him but do understand. Continue getting well, hopefully gettin right.

My sympathy goes out the window after multiple offenses. He’s been endangering himself & other lives for years. All of this isn’t even accounting for the times he’s done it & hasn’t gotten caught. I know I’m hardly the norm but I was addicted to drugs & alcohol to the point where I gave myself stomach cancer yet I didn’t once consider getting behind the wheel. I was in favor of him & Matt adding the AEW tag titles to their accolades & retiring the way they started their careers. I’m sure that was the plan in that ladder match. Maybe have one final program with Punk (but both of them are gone now & I don’t want them to bring up his demons for TV anymore). However if the poor ring rust didn’t change my mind, then this selfish incident definitely did. He should just retire, stay out of the spotlight, & get better before any more damage is done. I often criticize TK but he made the right decision forcing Jeff to go to rehab and I hope he doesn’t make the same mistake previous promotions have.

Right. I can't get behind these people that are adamant about continuing to give Jeff chances. Triple H was absolutely right to not want Jeff to be champ. Most of these people have never had substance users in their family. They can be toxic and dangerous to themselves and others and constantly enabling them by wiping the slate clean each time is going to lead to someone dying. Either himself or someone on the highway.

As someone who battles their own demons with substance abuse (alcohol, actively recovering), this video is a heartbreaker. Jeff has inspired so many people and has done things that only the really fortunate can achieve, but life is deeper than just that. I always assumed he had a more nihilistic perspective of the world as a kid myself, but you can see the writing on the wall with this video. Considering his multiple stints in rehab, he is more than capable of sobriety, but he probably hasn't felt that true muse that others feel way not sober. It becomes succinctly, a welcoming part of you. Ask anybody who quits alcohol, cigarettes, or other drugs. It's a lifelong journey. I do believe in Jeff and pray for him. I somewhat agree that he should hang it up but knowing how addiction works if he doesn't have a succession to wrestling his substance abuse may creep back up off boredom. Hoping that he can get together with the WWE or another company and become a life coach of some sort for the younger guys. Anyway, great reaction Ross!
