Im a Shane McMahon mark so I definitely remember his fued with Roman Reigns. My issue with the overall fued though was Drew McIntyre lost to Roman twice that year at two different pay per views one of those being WrestleMania. I was really big on Drew in 2019 needless to say I was elated when Drew won The Royal Rumble the following year 😊

Yea I’m currently watching old episodes of raw from the attitude era in 1999, and not everything on these shows were that great. Imo what made the attitude era good was that it was a little edgier, the characters like Stone Cold and The Rock and the fact that it was 2 wrestling companies going head to head trying to be the #1 show. Besides that I don’t see anything about the attitude era that’s better than what they do today. Their wrestlers today are wayyyyy more talented and athletic, the wrestlers are better taken care of, and I can’t even remember the last time Wwe put on a bad ppv. People just like to live in the past like everything in the attitude era was so good, no tf it wasn’t. It was just a hot time period in wrestling because of the reasons I gave🤷🏽‍♂️

The only thing memorable about Kane and Kahli from WrestleMania 23 was Kane slamming Kahli referencing the Hogan/Andre spot 20 years earlier. That was cool. Im also a Kane mark but that match was trash, and then WWE booked these two again at Summer Slam two years later. There was no excuse for that! Kahli had trash ass world title matches with Batista at Summer Slam 07, and Triple H the following year at Summer Slam, and then they book him against Kane in 2009 at Summer Slam. They had just did that match 2 years eatlier at WrestleMania and it was garbage. People say Vince McMahon is a genius maybe he is or maybe he was but I can't make the booking of Khali throughout his time in The WWE make sense if I tried...
