@kofteistkofte16 күн бұрын
@Alparslan-1071s that is also wrong, the name Döner Kebap only used due to Germans. The food's name is just Döner. What Turkish guest workers did in Geemany is just adding sauce and some sides to the döner. Why it started to get called döner kebap is, because Germans first meet döner in kebap shops, so name stuck like that.

I wonder if English is the only language without a defined accent. Other languages have regional variations, but the accents still have an overall sound that is an essential part of the language. With English the accent doesn't really matter. You can speak English with a strong French or German accent, but it's still English. If you speak French or German with an accent that doesn't at least sound somewhat similar to a native accent then it's not really speaking the language properly.

Eighth day of requesting this idea: Hello! It will be really nice if you guys made a video of comparing different Chinese dialects like the Hokkien dialect, hakka dialect, and cantonese dialect with Korean and Japanese. And get these people who speak it from China specifically. You can find some majority of hokkien speaking people in the Fujian province of China. You can find majority of Hakka speaking people from Guangdong province in China. You can find majority of Cantonese speaking people from Guangdong province in China. This is because these dialects are closer to old and Middle Chinese. So there will be more similarities when you compare Korean, japanese. I’ve been wanting someone to make a video like that for a long time.

the famous Doener Kebab was NOT brought to Germany but created in Germany (Berlin) explicit FOR German/Western taste at the time when fast food became a thing (thats why it looks like fast food and not like the 'plate meal' in Turkey - which not many knew and know. Thats also the reason why you have much more Doener shops in Germany than in any other country)
@evcim02Ай бұрын
They were selling it on streets in pide during ottoman times
@kofteistkofte18 күн бұрын
That is actually a really big misinformation. Döner in sandwich form started in Ottoman Empire times İstanbul, and it was already a really popular street food here before guest workers. Berlin style döner differs by sauce and sides usage, because we don't put much in döner, since we prefer the taste of meat to be more pronounced. What Kadir Numan did was, bring something that was already popular in his home but Germanized it a bit slowly. Also when you want to eat Döner in Türkiye, you most likely eat in bread, but lavash become popular in the last years due to economical reasons, same with chicken döner becoming more popular. We eat döner as a plate meat when we want to eat something a bit more fancy but not that much.
@semprefidelis7612 күн бұрын
😂 lol döner is German as much as Bratwurst 🌭 is Turkish 😊 This is a ridiculous attempt to steal our national food! Greeks..and now the Germans! Noooo döner is not a plate only meal in Turkiye 😊
@ItalixPubg5 күн бұрын
@@semprefidelis76 It's funny that you speak about Greeks because in France, when the kebab was introduced, they didn't want to tell it was a Turkish dish - because Turkish food is not well known in France - so instead they introduced it as Greek. I agree, it's extremely weird, because there absolutely no connection with Greece, but it sounded better to sell a "Greek" sandwich. And this is why, still today, the word "grec" (Greek) is sometimes used for "kebab".
@semprefidelis765 күн бұрын
@@ItalixPubg Well yeah, several years ago when I visited France. I was surprised by the “Grec” word in every corner. I figured it meant Greek, but later it was even more astonishing to find out it actually meant what we Turks call döner. But in defense of Greeks, I don’t think we Turks can fully claim rights to it. Greeks do their own versions, so do we Turks as well as several Arab nations and also in many Russian countries. After all, we Turks are a really mixed nation. I have 89% Greek DNA lol so I feel like defending Greeks every once in a while lol 😂 But baklava, no way. That is done best in Türkiye. No comparison 😁 🇹🇷❤️🇫🇷
