And on this point, Paula has a delicious singing accent that many people would describe as "Spanish". And the only country in Europe where Spanish is spoken is Spain. :) If the objective was to specify a region (and even if the situation in Catalonia is very specific, I know), guess she comes from Catalonia is too difficult. But the reason this part of the video is hilarious to me is because I feel like Paula anticipated that everyone was going to say "Spain." She seems very sociable, curious, friendly, great sense of humor. :) And above all natural. Therefore, she participates a lot in the game. So, everyone has the opportunity to hear her accent and pronunciation.

I think flemish and wallonian people look and definitely sound different. If she was flemish I'm sure they would've guessed dutch. She is obviously either from brussels or wallonia not flemish. Flemish wouldn't have a french accent like that even if many can speak it as a second language.

It's tough to have good pronunciation in Spain, because *everything* that is broadcasted at the TV is dubbed into Spanish. Like Japanese and Greek? we have only 5 vowels, while English has 12 (some say even 14!) that have to be written with 5 glyphs.

It is different in some people from the country, there are hard accents but mostly people didnt practice when they were young. The looks are normal for Bulgaria but hers are kinda naturally refined and looks even better than normal..

It is much easier to guess people when they are in groups.. then you can see which features are in common and are more repetitive.. but Normally you can guess nationality way easier among men than womne... as women camuflate under too much make up, fashion, clothes..and men are more simple Put wayne rooney next to oliver kahn.. it is pretty easy to see who is the german and who is the brit..

To me as an English person i could spot the German accent from a mile away, i was actually really surprised that all of these Europeans couldn't tell that's a German accent 🤣It's the most obvious one, well the second. For me from most obvious it goes English(posh), German, French, Italian, Spanish, these are the most obvious accents in Europe to me. But perhaps if i was from Eastern Europe i wouldn't be able to guess other than definitely English, and maybe French idk.

Her spanish accent is also thick. But she is from Barcelona and they have their catalan culture, language and identity. Many catalans differ from spanish people in many ways. I think she grew up on spanish language instead of catalan language because I noticed catalan speaking people have their own accent that differs from a spanish accent. Take that football coach Pep Guardiola for example. He doesn't sound spanish when he talks in english or german. He sounds catalan.

That Bulgarian girl at the left end is mixture between Bulgarian father and Georgian mother. Because of her Georgian mother she looks more darker and the others think she is from Moroco. :) But it is interestig she speaks English with American accent, not with British accent.

It gets more difficult to tell differences as time marches on. I mean, people could look at my avatar if they can see it well enough, my grandpa is smoking the pipe, and my dad is the kid sitting on the floor in front of him with the glasses on, so you might not need the last name to tell what ethnicity I am, there's definitely a particular look in our family, but we've been in the US 140 years or so anyway, so if people guessed we were from a certain European country, they would still technically be wrong, so who knows?

A British person is someone from Britain. An English person is someone from England. So they are NOT the same. It’s incorrect to call the girl English as she is not from England. She is from Wales so she is Welsh. England, Wales and Scotland are the countries that make up Britain. Basically the Island is called Britain. The girl is Welsh and British
