Sikhs must educate Russians about Sikhi. It will be easy because Sikhs don't aim at converting others but spread the wisdom of Gurus and light of Guru Granth Sahib JI. Sikhs must endeavour to spread message of Sikhi in African continent.

I live in an area with a large Sikh population and Punjabi in general (Vancouver, BC). Is it ok to say Sikhism? I had not seen the reference for Sikhi until this video series and always just referred to it as sikhism. Is sikhi how it would be pronounced in Punjabi? Thanks in advance!

+Epyx911 Yes, Sikhi is the Sikh/Punjabi way of referring to the Sikh religion. The word "Sikhism" was given to Sikhs, and to me, sounds too much like Racism and Sexism..

it is lovely to see how for Sikhi dont mind status i feel deceived with islam they don't want to help me to arrange with my partner for traditional marriage.my family complained and they say at masjid that don't help to poor people :( brotherhood/sisterhood in Islam is fake

There are problems in all communities my sister. What I would say from a Sikh perspective is that Sikhi is perfect but there are imperfect Sikhs who cause problems. Wish you all the best. Dont let anyone break your faith. Pray to Allah and repeat His Name (Tasvi I believe you call it) and ask Him for help

It's capital, Kiev, is a cradle of the East Slavs. If you travel further to the east, at the border of the Russia and Georgia you will find Ossetian people, They are part of Eastern Iranian branch. In the Europe, Slavic and Baltic people are probably closest to Indians. You can even trace connections between Vedism and Balto-Slavic native believes still preserved under christianized customs.

Off course Greeks, same as Slavs or people from the north parts of India belong to the same ethno-linguistic group. But Greeks have more direct connection because of Alexander the Great. After his conquest, there were several Indo-Greek kingdoms,with that and with the help of Silk Road many cultural exchanges happened.
