It's understandable but it takes a minute or so to adjust to listening to it. Thick Scottish accents arent common in the USA. You go into a similar community in the USA and you will find the accents are pretty thick there too (working class urban accents are generally thick anywhere). There are some people in my local city 25 mins away that I can barely understand lol!

People done understand the Glasgow accent because its not regularly on the TV and in the media like plain English accents are. The same goes for the Newcastle accent this is quite a difficult dialect to understand unless you hear it regularly. The breadth of accents in the UK is quite fascinating.

Since being on major pain meds for a spinal condition I've experienced morphine and also Fentinyl withdrawal. It is fucking miserable. I'm sure its lots worse when theres psychological addiction and issues too. You can even rest. It wont let you sleep OR lay still. It is like a bad trip in your mind, all your worst experiences feel like they happened yesterday AND you feel like you have been plugged into the mains electric. Desperate tiredness with zero ability to even lay still. I can't even hold my tablet or phone or a book to read when it happens. I can hardly imagine go8ng through that while on the street and psychologically addicted to a drug that does that to you... no wonder they struggle so much. Poor people, 😥

In London at least, stabbing someone in the arse was considered a way to stab someone but drastically reduce the chance of killing them. It was also a massive humiliation. It could have been a bad shot if they tried to stab him in his arse cheek and he tried to duck it.
