Great update. So fun seeing the build as it progresses. And all those images will be great reference in the future when you wonder where something is installed, troubleshooting, add-ons, etc.

I’m curious what your fuel consumption is with your heating system.
@dtadventure4x4Ай бұрын
That is a very good question and difficult to measure. It is supposed to be up to 1 gallon for every 6-8 hours, but at least so far I feel it has been less. I need to put some thought into this.

What happens to the bed and rear window? Does rossmonster give you a credit for it then remarked those parts?
@dtadventure4x4Ай бұрын
Surprisingly there is not a large market for a slightly used truck bed. You can get one through ebay for less than $1K (at least that is what I found). I had Rossmonster "deal with it" - meaning, please discard if needed. I do not have space or the means to deal with selling the bed. For the window I would think it is even worse. Again, I let them do their thing. If they get some money for either one, that is fine. I do not feel I was taken advantage off by them.

From my experience, selling the beds and windows using normal means (Facebook ebay, craigslist and so on) nets very few results. The windows are virtually worthless and the beds might sell for 2 or 3 hundred if you can even find an individual to buy them.

diesel 6.7 or gas 7.3? -would you add a Natural Gas kit to get at least 40% savings... -
@dtadventure4x44 ай бұрын
You mean for the engine to run partially run on propane? My truck has the 7.3 liter gas "Godzilla" engine. I would absolutely consider a hybrid (electric or LPG) it it would be available and feasible. For "the moment" the gas engine is the best choice even if the MPG is pretty bad, but at least I can go into middle and south America without having to worry about Diesel fuel.

it is a hybrid conversion kit, for CNG, compressed natural gas, different from LPG. It is available in México for 1,200 dollars installed by certified agencies. The 5th generation is available now. cons and pros as everything...Even public transportation buses, with diesel engines or gasoline, r running on hybrid CNG conversion kits. U can still run the truck on gasoline if CNG is not available...

Hi. I follow you and enjoy your videos. I have some questions about this built as I’m debating between buying one from a dealer or getting a truck and having it built like you. Are you able share your email? Thank you again
