You always nail it Ross revealing the detailed process! Would love to see a TUT on creating 3d mockup where I can place the design in photoshop. Specially, which AOVs and how they will be set in PS for this scenario

Great video, essential yet overlooked aspect of still-frame rendering. It's also perfectly acceptable to use programs like Lightroom or Luminar.

Would be nice to tell how did you save the AOVs without clipping data to match the beauty pass.

Thanks for this video! I am NOT seeing any Puzzle Matte in my PSD file. Can't seem to figure out how you exported the .psd so that the AOV is in the layers. Please Help!

Hi Ross! thanks for this very helpful tutorial! I just have one question about opening the EXR file in PS (mac user): I'm not sure why, but the multi passes layers doesn't show up in PS, i was wondering why and then after a quick search on google i found out that you need a plug-in (exr-io)... but this apparently is not compatible with mac as it works only for windows... any idea how can i have a similar workflow as you showed in this video? thanks!

Hey Ross. Love your content. I was wondering how do i use AOV's for animating lights on and off in post? I kind of have an idea how i could do it. But how would i also render the glow of the light? Can i do that as an AOV too? Would you be able to make a tutorial on this or point me in the right direction for my specific use case. I am making 3D visuals for a dj and i'd usually just kkey frame lights but i feel AOVing would give me more control in post.
