Well done! I recently purchased the RM1C and I really like it, but I did have to do a light stipple job on it to make it more manageable. I am and have been a big Arex Delta fan also.

A little disappointed with the RM1c but really appreciate your honest reviews. Not a bad, but just another gun. I’m going back and watch that SAR9c video again, it was so great to see you so excited about that gun.
@gbgunsmedia8 ай бұрын
There really is such a thing as a match between shooter and gun. A good shooter can run any gun, but that SAR 9C Gen 3 was just silly-easy for me.

Im such a fan boy of Arex, i cant give any sort of unbiased contribution

My AREX is more controllable, i think because it has a more aggressive grip surface and more of my hand and fingers land on the granular area. My RM1c has less rough surface (less rough texture area?), specifically, my index and thumb sit on soft flat polymer and I find the gun trying to flip backwards more so than the Arex

My RM1c wouldn’t allow the slide to move with a full mag. Sent it back and a week later received mine with some extra machine work under the slide and still VERY difficult to rack. Contacted RM again and the CEO responded appropriately by stating they would replace it. Waiting on the new one to arrive, but pleased with the responsiveness and willingness to make it right…I’ll give them a chance on this one.

Mine and my arex both did that. Till I shot some rds through them. The mag springs are extremely stiff at first too.
@Hankssnakes8 ай бұрын
@@tonyevans1429 I’ve owned/ran Deltas too, which are heavier sprung than Glock and really geared toward NATO loads. The RM1C was simply not serviceable but hoping it was just an anomaly. Looking forward to running the replacement soon.

@@gbgunsmediaReceived the replacement, along with some swag stuff, less than a week later from the company. The machining under the striker channel was definitely better, even shiny. Ran 100% with co-witness Sig x-rays and a cheap Riton red dot. Racking is noticeably easier and on par with other 9mm strikers now…I’m satisfied thus far but need more trigger time.

Love both of my Arex Delta Gen II’s so no need for adding a Rost Martin in my collection. Mine have been flawless and shoots very well.
@edphillips86698 ай бұрын
The Rost Martin does seem to have more muzzle flip, and as you mentioned it beats up your hand more. Seems like the Arex is the better choice of those two guns.
@gbgunsmedia8 ай бұрын
There is also the uncrontrollable bias that I have more time with the Arex and the Arex fits my hand better.

Thank you for sharing another outstanding video. I, believe that you shot the Arex Delta better 😁 My husband and I have numerous Arex pistols and have had zero issues with any of them. I, wish RM well in marketing their pistol. I prefer German / European engineering, craftsmanship and manufacturing. I, appreciate other manufacturers on rare occasions we purchase a non European fireman. We wish you and Teya a great evening 🙏

a huge benefit of Rost Martin RM1C is that it's on the California Roster.

I love both. Talked with Global Ordinance last year at Indy and Rost Martin today in Dallas. Very great feel on both. Great comparison. Are you going to be at any particular vendor tomorrow?
@RichardLorenz-t4y8 ай бұрын
Definitely noticed you had less control of the Ross Martin
@Zach-ov1cd8 ай бұрын
Low and not ready. 😂 The Delta looked very easy to control, the return to zero "looked" effortless. (I may/may not be? rather biased: I enjoy the heck out of shooting my Delta M, though not as much as my abruptly named Smith and Wesson M&P9 2.0 4" compact - phew... never shot a Rost). I did not think it (the Rost) looked like less control, but it definitely did look harder hitting on the palm/web zones. Curios, why do you bet the Rost would be more comfortable to carry?
@gbgunsmedia8 ай бұрын
I suspect my extra time with teh Arex biased these results. I believe the Rost Martin would be more comfortable for carry because of the texture.
@Zach-ov1cd8 ай бұрын
@@gbgunsmedia I don't know, what my eyes saw in the video was better handling with the Delta. However, of course, that could be due to many factors (and still spoken by someonewho has not shot the Rost). I do find it very interesting that you have bear paws and I have medium-sized glove hands and we both find the Arex to be very comfortable in hand (I believe I use the small backstrap though). Texture, I had a fleeting thought on that being a point.
@siestatime46388 ай бұрын
Are the recoil spring/guide rod assemblies interchangeable? It might have been interesting to feel what a spring swap would do.
@1992bthomas5 ай бұрын
I'd like to know the outcome of that, myself.
@MrBuckeye638 ай бұрын
Id say ..if someone hasn’t owned neither… It pretty much is a toss up Anytime you have a lighter pistol you’re gonna have increased recoil .. that just physics Probably the reason I like the CZ P10C .. a bit of heft I have been taking the AHSS FXS 9 to the range on a regular basis as of late Working on thinning out my steel case ammo stash … ( nasty) but potent I have found the increased weigh of the pistol , 17 rd grip plus great ergonomics.. has made this $189.00 ( now $275 0n the web) pistol a surprise …

Try it with the large back strap it will fit your hand better
@CenlaSelfDefenseConcepts2 ай бұрын
the RM1C looks snappier. I describe the RM1C as the less aggressive more CCW friendly version of the Delta it's a little more rounded off and lighter.
@DanTheWolfman8 ай бұрын
Did they both have the Large Backstrap installed? As come w Medium the RM feels not as good in my Large hands but does point naturally. It may be beavertail area ergonomics as well for me. I didn't try it at store w Large so not sure how much would help
@markblok40978 ай бұрын
I wear a 2x glove and the first thing I did was install the large back strap and it feels so much better in my hand on the RM1C

Why would I? That was already done in both the tabletop video and the articles on both guns.

Ok every gun is compared to glock 19 I bought one to see what they are all talking about and the gun is awful terrible trigger, accuracy sucks uncomfortable and bulky. I think you people must be soft heads if you think that is good in any way worst gun I ever bought and I've had em all
