I read your comment while listening to this song on headphones surrounded by my family. I closed my eyes and imagined the picture you painted of yourself. I imagined you opening your eyes and popping into your reality and then I did the same. It was a weird but kind of cool moment. Magic really. Here from a teacher, episode 6, and man, do I feel this. On both sides. Love is mysterious thing. It’s painful and joyful, and those emotions are challenging at any age...however...at 18 (as Eric’s character is) it is hard to navigate those feelings. And even more challenging if the romance is forbidden. My heart breaks in different ways for both of the characters. You really do root for both of them. So, kudos to the show for fantastic writing. Now, on a personal note, sometimes love is not enough, sadly. Sometimes it just can’t or doesn’t work, no matter how much you want it to. We’ve all been there, broken and bruised and wanting what’s not there. It scars us and we have to carry that with us. Time heals, but the scars will always remind us of our past, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Life’s about learning. So, take the lessons and move forward as best you can.

I know it's an illegal relationship, but the chemistry between the actors/characters Eric and Claire definitely elevates the believability of their affair/forbidden relationship and makes you want to root for them to be together (when it's legal of course). just hoping the final episodes aren't too rough like episode 6 and the last episode ends on a hopeful or high note

Hi Rostam, I don't know if you read these but I just wanted to say that this song effects me in a way that I can't put into words. It's so beautiful, I can't describe it. The first time it hit me in that way was when me and my girlfriend had been up doing speed and it was early hours of the morning. There was a lot of weirdness between us and then this came on and we just held each other and sobbed and it made us feel a lot closer. Ever since then I can reliably turn to it at times when my head is messed up and I need to process my feelings, which is something I find quite hard to do. I've had so many important experiences listening to it and it really just hits me in my soul, every section of it brings a wave of emotion. It's hard to find that kind of space these days. Thank you so much for making this.

a teacher is a really good show so far. it really makes u root for both characters regardless of the circumstances, but they obviously also emphasize how toxic and inappropriate the relationship and how it negatively affects people around them. alsooo this song was a great choice.
