LUCIANO MUNOZ
SMAK voice rhythm movement is a concert series with interviews and conversations. In SMAK, Sweden-based artists are visited, all representing in a personal way a strong musical and storytelling tradition deeply rooted in a place or in a folk culture in different parts of the world.
Luchano Munoz is a versatile musician with roots in the South American musical tradition. Born in northern Chile and strongly influenced by the Andean folk music tradition, Lucano came to Sweden where he continued his musical journey with education at, among others, the Academy of Music in Gothenburg and the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm.
During his years as a musician, he has participated in numerous projects and contexts as well as a musician and producer, including in the Chilean group Huara (Chile) as well as Cressento, Euriadne, Lecheburre, Lilla bäcken, GAO and Andinacion (Sweden) Currently producing and working Luchano in Kontiki Kompaniet, a project based on sound synthesis and various instruments from the South American and Andean musical tradition with instruments such as Charango, pan flute, quena, zampoña and various percussion instruments.
In this act, Luchano will meet singer Rostam Mirlashari, percussionist Liliana Zavala and dancer Ulrika Larsen in her hometown of Gothenburg.
SMAK- with Lucano Munoz will be presented digitally on May 6 at 19.00, 2022 on Farhang's KZbin channel.
